Obituary Virginia Grace (Fitzer) Rothlisberger

Virginia (Ginny) 94, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was taken home by the Lord peacefully on Tuesday February 27th at her home in Maple Valley alongside family members.  Born to Eunice and Rudolf Fitzer on December 30, 1923, she was raised in Eatonville and Seattle.  After graduating from Eatonville High School in 1942, Ginny met and married Willard (Bill) Rothlisberger in Tacoma in 1944.  Ginny spent most of her 58 years of marriage to Bill in North Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona before returning to Washington six years ago.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bill (2002), son Thomas (1992) and brothers Ken, Marvin, Melvin and Harold Fitzer.  She is survived by her sons Richard (Judy) of Maple Valley, Eugene (Rita) of Newcastle, Len (Kathy) of Grand Rapids, MN, Lynn from Renton and Brian from Des Moines, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held on Sunday March 18th from 1-4 pm at Cherokee Bay Community Club, 21700 SE 265th Way, Maple Valley, WA 98038.
