A real-life princess, just like in fairy tales, will read stories to children at the Pierce County Library System on Saturday, April 27, and Saturday, May 4. Daffodil Princesses will read stories, talk with children and be available for photos, according to a Pierce County Library news release.
“Imagine spending time with a real-life princess,” states Pierce County Library System’s Executive Director Georgia Lomax in the news release. “The Daffodil Princesses will read and talk with children, giving them genuine attention. The kids love this close encounter with our local royalty.”

• 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Eatonville Pierce County Library, 205 Center St. W., the Orting Pierce County Library, 202 Washington Ave. S, the Summit Pierce County Library, 5107 112th St. E. and the Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave.
• 12 p.m. at the Fife Pierce County Library, 6622 20th St. E.
•2 p.m. at the Bonney Lake Pierce County Library, 18501 90th St. E., theGraham Pierce County Library, 9202 224th St. E., the Key Center Pierce County Library, 8905 KPNW, Lakebay, the Milton/Edgewood Pierce County Library, 900 Meridian E., Suite 29, Milton, and the DuPont Pierce County Library, 1540 Wilmington Drive.
Saturday, May 4:
•11 a.m. at the Buckley Pierce County Library, 123 S. River Ave., the Steilacoom Pierce County Library, 2950 Steilacoom Blvd. and the University Place Pierce County Library, 3609 Market Place W., Suite 100.
