The Eatonville High School girls tennis team took on the Tyee Totems on Thursday, April 18, in a league match up.
The Cruisers took the overall win, five games to none. In singles play, the Cruisers were led by Amber Frank who beat her opponent in two sets, 6-3 and 6-1, to keep her unblemished record intact. She is now 7-0 in the season. Katie Foster also defeated her opponent in two sets, 6-1 and 6-2.
In doubles play, Laela Stalkfleet and Hannah Bahr improved their record to 4-3 in the season after winning their match up in three sets; 6-4, 6-7 and 10-6. Emily Frey and Claire Golding ran their season record to 2-3 after taking their opponent to three sets and getting the win; 6-4, 5-7 and 7-5. Brittney Tipton and Cassidy Foster rounded things out for the Cruisers by winning in two sets, 6-1 and 6-1, to keep the Cruiser shut-out in place.
This overall win brings the team record to 3-4 overall and 3-3 in league play.
