President's Day closures in Eatonville

It seems as if everything has been shut down thanks to the unexpected snowstorms that have battered the Puget Sound areas since Monday, Feb. 4. But some offices and local government offices will be closed again for the upcoming holiday, President’s Day.

The following offices will be closed for Presidents’ Day;

•The Town of Eatonville offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18. The offices will reopen on the following February, Feb. 19.

•Pierce County District offices and courts will be closed Monday. Hours will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 19

•South Pierce County Fire and Rescue offices will be closed Presidents’ Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday. For emergencies call 911.

•Eatonville Police Department offices will be closed Presidents’ Day. Office hours will resume on Tuesday. In the event of an emergency call 911. For non-emergency situations call (360)832-6111.

•The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department offices will be closed Presidents’ Day. In the case of an emergency call 911. For non-emergencies call (253)798-4722.

•Pierce County Library branches will be closed on Presidents’ Day. The Eatonville branch will reopen on Tuesday.

•The Eatonville School District will be closed Monday for Presidents’ Day and will reopen on Tuesday, depending on weather conditions.

•The United States Post Office will be closed on Presidents’ Day. Offices reopen on Tuesday.
