he Pay it Forward Club, a group of Eatonville quilters, is making the denim quilt, and raffling it to benefit the Eatonville Family Agency. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the agency. Tickets are now on sale at the following locations: Postnet, Center Street Junction, and the Eatonville Family Agency. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. There will be a 12 noon drawing July 5. The raffle drawing will be held at Center Street Junction across from Key Bank. Tickets for this beautiful handmade quilt will be available at the Center Street Junction and the Eatonville Community Center.
The mission of the Eatonville Family Agency is to serve individuals, families and senior citizens in need and to reduce the impact of poverty through a variety of social services and community programs. They provide a food bank, backpack food program for school students, clothing bank, senior citizen activities, DSHS basic food and medical enrollment assistance, holiday food and toys, school supplies, and much more. The food bank is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and closed from 12 to 12:30 p.m. for lunch. The food bank is closed on Tuesday. The clothing bank is open on Thursdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
