Letter to the editor: 'Thank you' to first responders

This is a BIG THANK YOU to all the first responders who were so quick to arrive at our house on Aug. 6.

Responders Chris Mjolsnes, Joe Arena, Chris Johnson, Kyle Barnes, Steven Akin, Beau Corey, Tyler Savage and John Walsh all deserve a huge "thank you."

If anyone who was here that day and your name has been missed, THANK YOU TOO.

Each of you were respectful, professional, courteous, empathic, and dedicated to the needs at hand. There are not enough words to tell each of you how much you are appreciated. Thanks to each of you for your every effort on this day. Though the outcome wasn't what we all were aiming for, the family of Lance Gillispie thanks you immensely.
