The 2016 Sky Valley Farm Festival takes place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8,-á on Fern Bluff Road, just off State Route 2 between Monroe and Sultan.-á
Visitors will tour working farms, take part in hand-on educational displays and activities while learning about our agricultural community. Parking is free, and tractor pulled wagons will take attendees from farm to farm.
Participating farms include the Groeneveld Dairy Farm at 29524 Fern Bluff Road and the Rivers End Cattle Ranch at 16603 275th Ave. SE.
The event is sponsored by the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce and Snohomish County Dairy Women. Several youth and agricultural clubs and organizations who will be providing fun educational booths, games and activities.
