A new location

State Farm insurance agent Carlina Morris celebrated her new office space on Thursday, June 4, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Her newly remodeled digs are at 123 W. Main St., next door to E-Man Computer Care (119 W. Main St.). Her previous office was located at 304 W. Main St. Morris sits on the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and facilitates the chamber's ambassador program.-á

During the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Awards in April, Morris was given the Entrepreneurial Spirit award for her work with the ambassador program. Through the program, Morris works with new and prospective business owners, helping them get acclimated to the business climate in Monroe. She works to promote Monroe as a viable place to start a business and networks with other business owners.

Morris has operated her State Farm office for three years.
