On Tuesday, Feb. 26, American Legion Arthur Kincaid Post 58 and Boy Scout Troop 53 conducted their first biannual American flag retirement ceremony at Lake Tye in Monroe.
The American Legion would like to thank the following members of Troop 53: Scoutmaster, Scott Cavassa; Assistant Scoutmasters, Tony Baker and David Singleton; Activities Chair, Jason Conradt; Outdoor Chair, Shawn Miller; Advancement Chair, Anne Singleton; committee members, Steven Motsenbocher and Tom Singleton; Boy Scouts Uday Bajaj, Dylan Baker, Steven Baker, Nolan Conradt, Sean Davis, Tully Kennedy, Zach Miller, Scott Motsenbocher, Levi Rood and Liam Tobin; the City of Monroe and the Monroe Fire Department.
