A small cluster of awnings alongside U.S. Highway 2 in Sultan on June 1 was the scene of the first of-áthe new monthly Artists in Action series of open-air art markets, which is being hosted by GROW Washington and will continue through the summer.
Artists in all mediums are welcome to join. Artists wishing to participate in the next event should provide three examples of their work to the GROW Washington panel for approval by June 15.-áYou do not have to be a member of GROW Washington to submit your work.
July's event will be held on Saturday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please contact GROW Washington Sultan at (360) 789-2146 for additional information on how to apply.
Artists in Action is currently scheduled for the following Saturdays: July 6, Aug. 3 and Sept. 7.
