Bertha (Toni) Accetturo

Bertha (Toni) Accetturo passed from this life into the loving arms of Jesus on October 27, 2012, after a full life of 91 years of age.
Toni was born on October 9, 1921, in Seattle, Washington. She grew up in Cle Elum and Seattle, and was a 1939 graduate of Lincoln High School.
Toni was a great role model to her family and was also an active member of the Monroe Arts Guild where she will be particularly remembered for her compassion, caring heart, talent as an artist, and avid interest the people she loved.
Toni is survived by her son, Robert Accetturo, of Edmonds; daughter, Karena Schutz of Buckley; daughter, Shelly Murphy of Maple Valley; daughter, Lisa Williams of Snohomish; son, Greg Accetturo of Monroe; nieces, Leanne Shelton of Edmonds and Lori Thompson of Bothell; 16 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. She is also survived by her many friends at Merrill Gardens and throughout the Monroe area.
Tone was preceded in death by her father, Umberto Gasperini; mother, Clara Gasperini; sister, Norma Perovitch; daughter, Yvonne Accetturo-Nelson; first husband, Mike Accetturo; and second husband, Bob Fulton.
A memorial service will be held at The Faith Center in Monroe on November 10, 2012 at 10 a.m.
Toni and her family truly appreciated the care and friendships that she was honored to have had at Monroe's Merrill Gardens and Regency Care Center, and the wonderful staff at The Mustard Seed Adult Family Home in Cathcart.
