Business Notes: Monroe gets new craft beer pub, Five Guys Burgers

Sky Valley lovers of premium beers and gourmet burgers will have new options this month, following the opening of a craft brew pub in the Fryelands and a Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant at North Kelsey.
Harry's on Tye adjoins Clearview Spirits and Wines, a liquor store in the Fryelands, and the pub is a natural offshoot of the retail store, said owner Bonnie Roulstone.
In a small space with video screens for both menus and sports, there are 32 tap handles behind the bar, each pouring an artisan beer, made in small batches by craft brewers.
"The taps will rotate regularly, "said Roulstone. "And we'll have specialty wines we'll serve by the glass.GÇ¥
While Harry's on Tye won't serve food, it will arrange for food trucks to be outside on weekends, and people can bring food from other places, or order a pizza to be delivered.
The pub will be open evenings, Thursday through Sunday to start.
The pub is located at 14286 169th Dr. S.E., Ste. 3 in Monroe, and can be found on Facebook.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries
Five Guys Burgers and Fries will hold a grand opening the first week of May at 14650 N. Kelsey St.
Five Guys, originally an Atlantic state chain, is the fastest growing burger chain in the United States right now.
"Burgers come from fresh ground beef; the potatoes are fresh-cut throughout the day and the produce is prepared every day,GÇ¥ said Amanda Schneider, who also has a franchise in Marysville. "The bacon is real bacon made from one of the last true smokehouses. The burgers are made to order and we offer salted and roasted peanuts as an appetizer while you wait.GÇ¥
