Chamber holds poster contest for parade

The Monroe Fair Days Parade has been a local institution since 1937. You could be the first poster design winner for this year's parade, which will be Aug. 29.

The theme for the 2015 Evergreen State Fair is "Picture the FunGÇ¥ and the chamber is hoping you will create an amazing poster with this idea. In doing so, the winning poster will be distributed around the city and county, and its designer will be an honorary parade judge.

Designs need to be submitted no later than June 2. The top three entries will be voted on the following week and will be distributed via www.facebook.com/MonroeFairDaysParade, as well as on www.ChooseMonroe.com

Poster designs need to be submitted to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, 125 S. Lewis St., Monroe WA 98272, or can be emailed to Director@MonroeWaChamber.org. Submissions via Facebook or other social media sites will not be accepted.
