The city of Monroe is seeking resident feedback about their perceptions of downtown Monroe.
The information is being collected through an online survey and takes about five minutes to complete. Professional consulting firm BDS Planning & Urban Design, hired by the city earlier this year to develop a Downtown Main Street Strategic Plan, will use the data to inform the plan as it moves forward.
The survey provides a visual depiction of the downtown Monroe area and asks a series of questions designed to provide insight into what residents see as downtown's strengths and weaknesses. The survey consists of several short-answer questions, plus other sections to help determine resident priorities for downtown Monroe and current perceptions of the area.-รก
It also gives the user the opportunity to sign up for email updates.
