Equine Aid holding horse rescue work party in Monroe, Whirlyball party in Edmonds

Equine Aid is inviting volunteers to work hard at the horse and donkey rescue 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 23, then party 4:15-6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Whirlyball in Edmonds. Dinner will be provided and tickets are $15, or $7.50 for those who participate in the Saturday work party at 11726 257th Ave. S.E., Monroe.

Equine Aid is also hosting the movie "Taming WildGÇ¥ 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the Hall at the Market Place in Monroe. Writer, director and producer Elsa Sinclair and Penny Lloyd, DVM, will speak before the film at 6:30 p.m. and the film starts at 7:30. Tickets are $5.
