Examiner's Office identifies motorist killed in Snohomish collision

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died in a one-vehicle collision Saturday night in Snohomish as 37-year-old Anthony R. Vannelli, Jr. of Monroe.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reports Vanelli’s vehicle left the roadway in the 10500 block of Chain Lake Road on Saturday night, March 17. A passerby reported the collision around 7:30 p.m. 

The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the collision, and speed is believed to have been a factor, according to the sheriff’s office. The examiner’s office has listed the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries.
