Washington State Parks will hold one more public meeting regarding its next phase of recreation planning for Wallace Falls State Park from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, in the Community Room at Sultan City Hall.
This is the third public meeting since last November to gather public input for the planning project for Wallace Falls State Park, which will include improving parking availability and recreation opportunities on adjacent public lands.
A Classification and Management Plan (CAMP) addresses land-use plans for all state parks, including trails, recreation areas, parking issues, day-use and camping opportunities.
Those who can’t make the July 18 meeting can also provide written comments through Aug. 3 to parks planner Randy Kline at randy.kline@parks.wa.gov or 360-902-8632. Online comments can be submitted at parks.state.wa.us/1074/Wallace-Falls-Planning.
Sultan City Hall is at 319 Main St.
