The Sultan Sky Valley Lions Club will bring a health screening unit to downtown Sultan on Tuesday July 30 and Wednesday July 31. -áThe hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the unit will be parked on Main Street near the gazebo. -áPeople can be screened for glaucoma and diabetes, plus have their blood pressure, vision and hearing checked absolutely free of charge.
The Lions Health Screening Unit has been in operation since 2011 and travels throughout Washington and Northern Idaho giving free health screenings at schools, fairs and other events. -áThe medically-equipped unit is 62-feet-long and pulled by a 375-horsepower diesel Kenworth truck.
