GROW Washington officially opens Sultan store

Sultan Chamber of Commerce President Brian Coppel, right and Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick, center, cut the ribbon opening the Grow Washington Biz business incubator Saturday. The business, which offers sales space to vendors who make their products locally, opened Oct. 1 but celebrated the grand opening Saturday. It is the second Grow Washington store; the first is in Snohomish. The Sultan store has grown to include about 15 vendors. Eslick said the goal is 20, although the store couple accommodate 30. Most of the products, including soy candles, American Doll clothes, garden benches, honey, campfire forks made of gold clubs, and aprons, are made in Sultan and Gold Bar.
