Harold Russell St. Peter passed away at the young age of 87. He was born to Ed and Gladys (Fields) St. Peter in Everett, WA. He lived most of his life in the Monroe and Sultan area before retiring to Grand Coulee. He was a proud veteran of the of the United States Navy and a volunteer firefighter in Monroe for many years. He had a great career in the Timber Industry, retiring from Weyerhaeuser and Port Gardner Timber.
Harold was an avid outdoorsman who lived for hunting and fishing, from Alaska to Mexico and everywhere in between. He made many friends along his journeys and had many stories to tell. He also loved auto racing and was a flagger in the 1950s and ‘60s at Sky Valley Raceway in Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, and daughter-in-law Cindee.
He is survived by his wife Charri, children Debbie St. Peter (Russell), Wendy St. Peter, Patti Campbell (Steve) and son Jamey St. Peter, and step-children Bob Helgeson and Debbie Trevino. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, many wonderful cousins, and too many friends to count. We will miss his never-ending love of the outdoors, his sense of humor and jokes, and his unending stories of life’s journeys.
