The Monroe Historical Society invites the community to a holiday open house Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at its museum at 207 E. Main St.
A new exhibit showcasing Monroe schools will be unveiled and refreshments will be served. Historic downtown walking tours will be offered every hour and hands-on pioneer activities will be available for kids.
