The other night I had the privilege of attending the swearing in ceremony of Monroe's newly-appointed municipal court judge, Mara Rozzano.
I have known Ms. Rozzano for many years, and my happiness at her success is matched only by my congratulations to Monroe's leaders for making such a wise choice.
After more than 20 years of service in the Snohomish County Prosecutor's Office, Ms. Rozzano has proved her commitment to public service as well as to this county and its residents.
Again, congratulations to the City of Monroe for selecting someone with great integrity GÇô someone who places as high a value on treating people with respect and dignity as she does on justice.
