I was so happy to see the orange flags put out at Main and Blakeley streets. They were so badly needed; so many pedestrians use that crosswalk and the crosswalk located near Jeno's. The flags show up so well on the white metal posts. Now, if we can get people to use them on a daily basis. The mayor assured me it would get finished and I'm so thankful he kept his word and the city complied. Downtown Monroe is now a much safer place to go and shop.-á -á
