Local airmen graduate from basic training

Air Force Airman Caitlyn Frazier and Colton-áM.-áRintala-ágraduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Frazier is the daughter of Dara Moore of Monroe, Wash., and James Stayton of Vacaville, Calif. She is a 2013 graduate of Monroe High School.
Rintala earned distinction as an honor graduate. He-áis the son of Maureen E. and David M. Rintala of Snohomish, Wash. He is a 2008 graduate of Monroe High School, and also earned an bachelor's degree in 2012 from Western Washington University.
