Mark Peters passed away at his home in Seattle, Wash. on August 14, 2014. He lost his 16 month battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive brain cancer. He was 38 years old.
Mark graduated from Snohomish High School, Class of 1994. While in high school, he played football for the Snohomish Panthers. He went on to many different career choices, but found his calling when he became a locomotive engineer for Burlington Northern Santa Fe. He was with Burlington Northern Santa Fe for almost 10 years.
Mark loved playing board games, camping with his family, and loved taking trips to the beach. He was an avid Seahawks fan and was thrilled to watch them win a Super Bowl Championship.
Mark is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jenny, and his three children, Haley Molly and Riley. He is also survived by his mother, Linda Daniels; stepfather, Dan Daniels; father, Larry Peters; stepmother, Judi Peters and in-laws, C.H. and Jackie Rowe. He leaves behind countless relatives and friends.
Mark had a fantastic sense of humor and a great smile that will never be forgotten.
Services and a celebration of life are to be held on September 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 1818 Queen Anne Ave. N., Seattle, 98109.
