Mobile mammograms coming to Sky Valley

EvergreenHealth's mobile mammography coach helps make women's health care more accessible to the residents of the Sky Valley.

The unmistakable bright blue coach will be parked at the EvergreenHealth Primary Care medical offices in Sultan 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22. The 40-foot-long, 30,000-pound mammography coach features a comfortable waiting area and is outfitted with the latest 3-D mammography equipment. EvergreenHealth's goal with the mobile cancer screenings unit is to increase availability and convenience for patients.

Wait times are typically shorter on the coach than they would be at the EvergreenHealth Breast Center, and most insurance plans will cover a screening mammogram. -á -á
