Monroe alum has head in the game

Laura Lothrop, far left, graduated from Monroe in 2015 and got a scholarship to play volleyball at Iowa Central in Fort Dodge Iowa. She returned to Washington for her sophomore year and is playing at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon. Lothrop’s mother submitted this photo, stating she hopes it encourgages other students who aren’t going D-1 or D-2 to consider playing at the community college level.
