Monroe High School (17001 Tester Road) announced its December 2014 department scholars this week.
The scholars are selected by teachers from each department, based on students' interests in their courses, desire to excel and willingness to pursue further knowledge in their areas, according to a press release. Students are also selected for their excellence, good citizenship, classroom participation and leadership in class.
