If unsure which school serves your area, families may visit the schools' website at www.monroe.wednet.edu or call the public schools' Transportation Office at (360) 804-2652.
Families have many options for kindergarten. Classroom space and enrollment determine which options are available at each elementary school. It is important to register early and encourage others to register early as decisions about options occur by early April. Options without adequate interest are canceled. In addition, some schools may fill their classrooms early, forcing students who register later to be bused to another elementary school.
The standard program has students attending a full day of instruction (8:50 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.) on alternating days GÇô Mondays and Wednesdays each week with some Fridays, while other students will attend Tuesdays and Thursdays with some Fridays.
