Monroe Police are investigating a Friday night robbery at the Sprint store, and seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects.
A news release states the robbery was reported around 7:30 p.m. July 13 at the Sprint store in the 18600 block of State Route 2.
An employee alleges a woman and two men came into the store and asked about buying an iPhone X. While the employee was showing the woman features on the phone, they heard noises coming from the backroom, according to the news release.
Before the employee reached the back door, the two men reportedly came out carrying handfuls of iPhone boxes, and then threatened the employee when she confronted them.
The news release states one of the men ripped two phones off displays as they ran out of the store.
Using store surveillance footage, Monroe Police have identified a light-skinned woman with shorter black hair and wearing light jean shorts, a floral shirt and pink sunglasses as the female suspect. Both men described as black with medium-length black hair, and one was wearing a white T-shirt and light jeans while the other was wearing a black T-shirt with black sweats and white shoes.
