Oktoberfest Monroe takes place at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds September 19 through 21.
The weekend includes traditional and lively Oktoberfest entertainment, authentic grub and grog and activities for all ages, and the 5k Stein Dash.
The 5k Stein Dash is an all-ages event and takes place on Sunday, September 21. It kicks off at 11:30 a.m. Costumes are encouraged.
All participants receive a limited-edition stein to carry during the run, which can then be filled with the participant's choice of drink (alcoholic or not) at the end of the race.-áRace registration includes admission to the event on Sunday.
The Oktoberfest Monroe race course begins at the entrance to the festival and winds through the fairgrounds before ending right back at the festival entrance.
Those who choose to not race can still enjoy half off admission to each event on Sunday.

The cost to register is $30 until September 13.-áSeptember 14 through September 18 the cost is $35.-á Participants can also register on the day of the race for $45.
