Police Blotter: March 24-30

Friday, March 24

10:40 a.m. — A woman reportedly consumed a bottle of vodka in the restroom of a store in the 18900 block of State Route 2. She was transported to the hospital for evaluation, and also cited shoplifting.

11:49 a.m. — A black Mitsubishi was reported stolen at Powell and South Blakeley streets.

6:24 p.m. — Cash was reported stolen from an ATM in the 19900 block of Old Owen Road.

Saturday, March 25

10:58 a.m. — Police arrested a woman for shoplifting and trespassed her from a store in the 19100 block of North Kelsey Street.

12:16 p.m. — A bag filled with suspected drugs was reportedly left at a cash register in a store at North Lewis and West Main streets.

7:41 p.m. — A report of a man siphoning gas from a business truck was made in the 300 block of Butler Street.

Sunday, March 26

6:51 p.m. — A white Honda Civic was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 18400 block of Blueberry Lane Southeast.

Monday, March 27

9:20 a.m. — Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant in the 500 block of South Lewis Street.

Tuesday, March 28

9:03 a.m. — Police conducted a follow-up on multiple abandoned homeless encampments in the 14900 block of Chain Lake Road. WSDOT had cleaned the areas. 

3:18 p.m. — Police found an abandoned encampment in the 14600 block of North Kelsey Street and left a notice to vacate.

Wednesday, March 29

1:54 p.m. — Police arrested a woman for shoplifting in the 14700 block of Chain Lake Road.

3:06 p.m. — Police arrested a man on multiple warrants at South Lewis and East Fremont streets.

4:01 p.m. — A bicyclist sustained minor injuries in a collision with a school bus at 157th Street Southeast and Candby Drive Southeast.

4:46 p.m. — Police conducted a sexual assault investigation in the 17400 block of West Main Street.

Thursday, March 30

6:47 p.m. — Police cited a man for driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop in the 15700 block of 179th Avenue Southeast. Meth was reportedly found in the vehicle.
