Rosella (Zuber) Roff


Rosella Roff passed away on July 29, 2013, three days after her 100th birthday.
Rosella was born in Lima, Ohio on July 26, 1913, to Jacob and Anna Viola Zuber. She earned her BA and Master's degrees in Education at Ohio State University. She was a teacher and principal for many years in the Highline Public Schools before joining her family in Monroe, Wash.
Rosella married Louis F. Roff in 1952. Louis preceded her in death. They had one child, Franklyn, who lives in Monroe with his wife, Karen.
Rosella will also be missed by her grandchildren, Acy, Frank, Karlyn, Rosie, Violet, Margaret, Davie and Ken; as well as six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Rosella helped organize the Big Brothers of King County. She was also very involved with the Resident Council at Merrill Gardens, Monroe. She was an active member of the Monroe Congregational Church.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Monroe Congregational Church, 301 S. Lewis St., Monroe, WA 98272.
Remembrances can be made to the Monroe Congregational Church Foundation.
