During the month of April the Monroe Rotary Students of the Month spearheaded a successful food drive for the Sky Valley Food Bank.
The 12 Students of the Month were selected from applicants at Monroe High School. They arranged food drives at Albertson's, Safeway, Fred Meyer, Grocery Outlet, and each of the elementary schools, as well as several churches. These drives netted 4,615 pounds of non-perishable food and $2583.94 for the food bank.
The Students of the Month are: Danika Marzluff, Hannah Hanson, Madeline Sabel, Brithni Urrutia, Deborah Irwin, Madison Bertrand, Nicole Reams, Mitchell Price, Erin Harris, Mallory Suggs, Forrest Arnold, and Elizabeth Stima.
