The Gold Dust Days Heritage Festival is a three-day event held in Gold Bar the last weekend in July. Gold Dust Days features handcrafted items only. Booth fees are $30.00 for the entire weekend. It also has a parade, car show, children's activities, live music, a civil war encampment, gold panning and more. The Sultan Summer Shindig celebrates its 30th year this year. It will be held July 12, 13 and 14. This costs $75.00 for the entire weekend. Shindig is the biggest event held in east Snohomish County besides the Evergreen State Fair. This event features a logger's contest, car show, parade, live music and a carnival.
