The East County Senior Center is gearing up for its Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair, an annual event to benefit the senior center while offering guests an opportunity to round out their Christmas shopping with unique, hand-crafted items.

The event takes place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the senior center, and will include a large selection of handmade items displayed by artists from Snohomish County and beyond. There will be a bake sale along with hourly raffle drawings to raise funding to support the senior center. Alpha Dogs will be serving lunch.

The bazaar will feature more 30 different vendors offering items that include jewelry, handmade pottery, knitwear, leatherwork, quilts, cedar planter boxes, handmade cards, chain-mail jewelry, embroidery, doll clothes, spa items and goats milk soap.

East County Senior Center Director Jacob McGee said the center has refined its vendor selection over the years to emphasize handmade items only,

“It’s a good place to come and find a really unique Christmas gift,” said ECSC Outreach Coordinator Candace Ranz.

The East County Senior Center is located at 276 Sky River Parkway in Monroe. For more information about the event, visit www.facebook.com/eastcountyseniorcenter
