Lego-« Club: Saturday, Sept. 6, 11 a.m. An opportunity build whatever you can imagine through individual projects, cooperative play and free exploration. For ages 5-12.
Ready Readers, Preschool Storytime: Mondays, Sept. 8, 15 22 and 29, 11 a.m. Books, sing-along songs, and creative activities that prepare young minds for reading. For ages 3-5.
Who Stole the Queen of Hearts' Tarts? Wednesday, Sept. 10, 6:30 p.m. A kid-friendly mystery featuring the familiar characters from Lewis Carroll's classic story. The audience can follow the clues to solve the mystery and catch the culprit. The Sultan Monroe Masonic Lodge will announce the Explore Summer bike winners before the show! All ages welcome.
Every Child Ready to Read and Rock! September 15, 11 a.m. Join celebrated musician Charlie Hope and discover some new ways to reinforce early literacy with music.

Friends of the Library Meeting: Thursday, Sept. 11, 9:30-11a.m. Enhance your local library through a variety of fundraisers, including book sales, bake sales, and more.
Getting Started with eBooks and Other Downloadable Content: Saturday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. Whether you are new to eReaders, or wanting to learn more about free electronic downloads from your library, this informative session will begin with an overview of various downloadable library resources. Ample time will be provided for device-specific questions, as well as the opportunity to schedule a follow-up "Book-a-LibrarianGÇ¥ session for further help. Coffee and cookies provided. Please bring a valid library card in good standing, your eReader device, and any passwords, Amazon account information, Adobe IDs, or other information required for your device. Fall Book and Bake Sale: Saturday, Sept. 20, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gently-used books at bargain prices, and a bake sale, too. Donations of books, movies, and music in good condition gladly accepted.

Turn on the Tech, Kindle 101: Wednesday, Sept. 24, 5 p.m. A hands-on tech session to learn how to download eBooks with ease. Just bring your Kindle, its USB/charging cable, library card, as well as your Amazon account logon information. Space is limited, so please preregister online or by phone.
