Sky Valley Tractor Show on for Aug. 9-11

The 25th Annual Sky Valley Tractor Show and Threshing Bee will be held August 9-11 at the Frohning Farm in the Tualco Valley.
The event is hosted by the Sky Valley Stock and Antique Tractor Club.
Around 1,000 people from Monroe go to it every year, said Michol Phillips, a three-year member of the club.
"People bring their tractors from all over,GÇ¥ Phillips said. "Everything you'd ever want to know about farming is available for you there.GÇ¥
Events will include a tractor parade, hay rides, tractor pulls and competitions, wheat threshing and more.
"We're a farming community,GÇ¥ Phillips said. "We need to support our farmers and this is really awesome way to do that.GÇ¥
Admission is $6 for adults and there is a pancake breakfast available for $5 every morning. To find the festival, head south on SR 203 to Tualco Road and look for the signs.
