The Skykomish School District recently began a process to develop a three-year strategic plan, focusing on student achievement, communication and facilities.
Three committees comprised of students, parents, staff and community members will develop recommendations to be provided to the district's board of directors in the spring, and recently completed a stakeholder survey, which is available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/7P9PSY8.
"Hearing from all of our stakeholders is essential as we plan for the future of the district,GÇ¥ said Superintendent Martin Schmidt in a news release. "We strongly encourage all stakeholders to share their opinions and suggestions by taking the online survey, however, if stakeholders are not comfortable with that format, there will be paper copies of the survey available at the Skykomish Post Office and at the school office.GÇ¥
