Sno-Isle Libraries seeks community input on crafting 2019 budget, levy decision

By Brandon Macz

Ninety-eight percent of Sno-Isle Libraries’ funding comes from a property tax in most of Snohomish and Island counties.

The library is asking people to take an online survey to provide advice on how to develop its 2019 budget, including whether to increase the levy rate or cut the district’s budget by at least $2 million.

The survey needs to be completed by Sunday, Oct. 15.

Sno-Isle Libraries serves 743,540 residents in Snohomish and Island counties through 22 community libraries, online services and Library on Wheels.
