By Brandon Macz

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission will meet in Monroe on March 21-22, addressing revisions to fee policies for operating and business needs, land classification and boundary revisions, financial planning and more.

The parks commission will first meet for a work session at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds 4-H Building, 14405 179th Ave. S.E., beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 21. Public comment will not be taken during the work session.

On the agenda for the work session is an update on Wallace Falls State Parks management planning at 2:20 p.m., which precedes a public meeting that night where residents can weigh in on how to improve recreation and parking at the popular park.
