Those hoping to ski Thanksgiving Day will likely get their wish, as Stevens Pass has sufficient snow to open Thursday.
The resort was open over the weekend but will close for the week to preserve the snowpack to ensure that there will be good riding Thanksgiving Day.
The lifts are limited; over the weekend Hogsback, Skyline, Brooks and Daisy were the only lifts running, meaning the backside of the mountain was not open, nor were the black diamond runs off the Seventh Heaven lift.
The terrain park, however, did open with 10 features to hit.
No new snow is predicted this week.
