Henna Tattoos GÇô Tuesday, July 2, 1 p.m. Explore the beauty of henna tattoos with Krysteen Lomonaco of Mehndi Madness, Inc., and create your own natural, temporary henna tattoo in this hands-on class. Class space limited, please preregister at the library or online.
Do-it-Yourself CD Art - Tuesday, July 9, 1 p.m. Take home some new wall art for your room! CDs, art supplies and snacks are supplied for this activity.
Healthy Relationships and Dating (and Cupcake Decorating) GÇô Tuesday, July 16, 1 p.m. An interactive class that teaches teens to recognize dating violence, motivate change toward healthy relationships, and work through scenarios about technology, bullying, etc. Presented by Alyssa Morgan, dating violence prevention educator from Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. Enjoy some yummy cupcakes to decorate with candy, sprinkles, and more.
Circuits, LEDs and More GÇô Tuesday, July 23, 1 p.m. Experiment with different electrical circuits using cells, wires, lamps, and switches. Learn how to draw a circuit diagram and make advanced circuits with resistors, variable resistors, and LEDs. Class size limited. Please pre-register.
The Hunger Games Challenge GÇô Tuesday, July 30, 1 p.m. Victory will be yours if you can eat more gross food than the rest or if you know more Hunger Games trivia than the rest. Win the book "Catching Fire,GÇ¥ a movie poster, and other assorted prizes. Please preregister.
