Sultan Library summer activities for kids

This summer, the Sultan Library will offer a series of free activities for kids of all ages, including special activities for teens.
Here is a schedule of summer events:
 
Monday, June 17, 11 a.m., is Kanga Roo to You!, an activity for children and families.
Wednesday, June 26, at 1:30 p.m., children 5-12 have fun with trolls, creating a pine cone troll, sneaking into a troll's cave, and more.
Tuesday, July 2, at 1 p.m., teens can learn the art of creating henna tattoos, a temporary tattoo painted onto the body with the plant stain, henna.
Wednesday, July 3, at 1:30 p.m., children and families can learn about fairies and make a fairly castle.
Tuesday, July 9, at 1 p.m., teens can make CD art for their rooms; CDs, as well as snacks, will be provided.
Wednesday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m., kids 6 and up will have an hour of crafts, stories and music.
Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m., Summer Crafternoons offers hour-long crafting activities for children and families.
Wednesday, July 17 at 1:30 p.m., children are invited to do puzzles, multimedia activities, and more.
Tuesday, July 23, at 1 p.m., teens explore electrical circuits, lights and resistors.
Wednesday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m. school-aged kids create dream boards, putting goals and dreams on paper.
Tuesday, July 30 at 1 p.m., there will be a Hunger Games challenge for teens, with kids playing Hunger Games Trivia, competing to eat the grossest food, and more.
Wednesday, July 31 at 1:30 p.m., children and families explore dinosaurs.
Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 1:30 p.m. kids 6-12 can hear stories of fascinating dogs.
Saturday, Aug. 12, families can learn about birds of prey with the Sardis Wildlife Care Center.
