Sultan Turk 5'3" junior Randy Tuggle shows the full-court, stifling defense the Turks unleashed to defeat the Lakewood Cougars 30 - 22 at home last Tuesday, January 29.-áThe Turks' effective "D" held the visitors to one point in the first period and only 11 points in the first half. The Turk shot makers went cold in the second half, allowing the Cougars to close in. Tuggle scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds.-áSeniors Cyd Batts and Annie Nuyen each scored two points in their last game as Turks. The Turks stand 7 - 6 and 7 - 12 on the season.
