Sultan Turk wide receiver, senior Ryan Sharp, hauls in a pass from quarterback Deion Bonilla in first quarter action in the Turks' pounding by Mount Baker, 41-14, in Friday's non-conference opener at Sultan. The Turks faced a fierce Mountaineer defense and had lots of trouble holding onto the ball. The visitors converted on most of those turnovers, scoring in every period. In the final quarter the Turks managed a focused drive, culminating with an 8-yard dash by Senior Cooper Beucherie and a point-after-touchdown by Josh Gonzalez. Beucherie-árushed for 61 yards on 16 carries and Bonilla passed 10-for-21 for 179 yards and a touchdown.-áThe Turks stand 0-2 on the young season.
