Lady Turks defenders senior Courtney Morris (left) and Junior Payton McGuire (right) show the "Wall of DefenseGÇ¥ the Turks laid on to hold the Granite Falls Tigers scoreless for the entire first period in the Turks' fast paced win 67 - 14 on Tuesday evening in the Turks home gym in Sultan. The Turks were led by Senior Jessica Hopkins with 18.
The evening opener JV matchup had the JV Turks winning 55 - 16, while the Turk varsity boys playing in Granite Falls ran to a scorching 81 - 64 win. The Lady Turks stand 4-5 and 5-9 for the season.
