The Sultan Turks junior Hunter Jones, at 182 pounds, pins Dawson Conway from Sammamish in an early bout at the District 1 South 2A Sub-Regionals Saturday in Granite Falls.
Scoring 342 points, the undefeated Turks remained so on their march to the District Meet next weekend and then State Championships on Feb. 21 at the Tacoma Dome.
Jones finished the meet with a solid third place and a trip the District Meet. Turks-áMiguel Cerna, Jamell Carroll and Taylor Comfort scored individual titles leading the Turks to the overall meet win.
