Gold Bar VFW Post #9417 Ladies Auxiliary Junior Past President Karol Kiens and Secretary Ute Woodhull, both long-time residents of Gold Bar, man the table at a recently-held a food drive to benefit Operation Full Bellies, a division of Sky Valley Community Outreach.
In addition to several boxes of food, generous monetary donations were made to the operation. The money donated will be used to buy needed food supplies.
Operation Full Bellies currently serves children referred by schools, churches or child advocates.
