Vote yes for quality education

There is no greater resource for a community than its children. They provide the hope for a better tomorrow. Their "tomorrow" is directly affected by what the voters in Monroe School District do today. In your mailbox this week were ballots for the school levies. These levies are critical for kids. Academic programs for struggling learners, classroom supplies, textbooks and maintaining safe schools are all paid For with "Prop. 1", the local "learning" levy that voters are being asked to renew before it expires. A second request for an Educational Technology Levy will provide dedicated funding to fill the even widening gap between what today's youth need to know and be able to do in this hi-tech world and Monroe schools' aging technology system.
Please vote YES to give Monroe's children the quality education they need to compete for good jobs and grow up to be our next generation of leaders.
